During his playing career, Brad Jackson was one of, if not the best, defensive player in school history. He also holds the distinction of being the only Wildcat to sign a professional baseball contract. During his final two seasons, Jackson put up impressive offensive numbers that earned him Great Northeast Athletic Conference First Team and All-New England honors. Jackson’s best season may have been his junior campaign when he hit a career-high .396 with 12 home runs and 42 RBI. He still ranks in the JWU career and single-season charts in a number of different categories, including a school-record 18 doubles his senior year. After his collegiate career was over, Jackson spent three years playing for professional teams in New York, New Jersey and Quebec.
