Salve opened the scoring with a two-run single in the top of the second inning by Dustin Siqueira (Trumbull, Conn.) before adding one more in the frame. The Seahawks added five more runs over the next three innings, taking an 8-0 lead after the top of the fifth frame.

The Wildcats added two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, headlined by a Xavier Bothelo (Rehoboth, Mass.) double to left field that played AJ Braid (Peabody, Mass.).  The Seahawks doubled their run total from the sixth through eight innings, taking a 16-2 advantage.  The Wildcats pulled one back in the bottom of the eighth inning, then Julian Jacobson (Los Angeles, Calif.)  grounded out to first and drove home Ryan Ducey (Ramsey, N.J.), bringing the final score to 16-3.
