Men's Ice Hockey

32 hockey student-athletes named AHCA All-American Scholars

PROVIDENCE, R.I. Thirty-two student-athletes from the JWU (Providence) men's and women's ice hockey teams have been named American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholars.

The men were represented by juniors Davis Bone (biology) and Cam Martin (culinary arts / food & beverage industry management); sophomores Jake Inzirillo (Business Administration), Connor Nelson (sports, entertainment, event-management), Ryan Walsh (business administration), Joe Freeman (business administration), Harout Torosian (business administration), and Brad Crook (business administration); and freshmen Brendan Flanagan (biology), Coby Fox (sports, entertainment, event-management), Luke Gaffney (business administration), Evan Gravel (BA/MBA business administration), Cullen Hennessy (business administration), and Joseph Sciabarra (business administration).

Seniors Allyson Barry (sports, entertainment, event-management), Harmony Chicoose (exercise and sports science), Reese Middendorf (hospitality management), Cassidy Rockwood (biology), Sofia Tamayo (criminal justice), and Jianna Truppi (biology) headlines the list of 18 women named to the squad. They were joined by juniors Alexia Labre (psychology), Kylie O'Keefe (biology), and Zoe Tow (biology); sophomores Sophia Brea (international business), Sadie Davignon (undecided), Brynn Leahy (sports, entertainment, event-management), and Hannah Tsouvalas (business administration); and freshmen Katelyn Cardoso (business explorations), Cailean Corbally (exercise and sports science), Marissa Lafferty (health science), Ashlyn Libby (criminal justice), and Ava Morgan (marketing & advertising).

A total of 1,123 student-athletes (664 men, 459 women) were honors. Amongst Conference of New England (CNE) institutions, Suffolk topped the list with 16, followed by Nichols (14), JWU (13), Western New England and Curry (10), UNE (six), and Endicott (five). On the women's side, The Wildcats 18 led all CNE institutions and were proceeded by Curry (16), Nichols (11), Western New England (eight), Suffolk and Endicott (seven), and UNE (five).

Student-athletes must hold a grade point average (GPA) of 3.75 and have participated in at least 40 percent of the team's games during the 2024-25 season.
