Fennell caps career with CNE Second Team nod

Evansville, Indiana native also named to Community Service Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior Kadyn Fennell has been named to the Conference of New England (CNE) Men's Ice Hockey Second Team and the Community Service Team.

Fennell skated in all 25 games for the Wildcats and established career-highs in goals (six), assists (five), and points (11) this past season. The Evansville, Indiana native scored a pair of shorthanded goals, one of which proved to be the game-winner against Anna Maria on December 13.

The left shot defenseman registered a goal and an assist in a win at Wentworth on November 16 and against the AMCats, and tallied points in consecutive games twice in 2024-25. Fennell blocked 28 shots, including three against Albertus Magnus (Nov. 2), Nichols (Nov. 9), and Wentworth (Nov. 15).

Fennell closed his JWU career with 19 points (8-11-19) in 66 games after transferring from Rivier University following his freshman campaign.
JWU closed the season with its highest win total (nine) since the 2016-17 campaign.
