Zach Miller placed first in the 184 lb. weight bracket at the 2025 New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Futures Sunday afternoon at Western New England University.

Miller posted a 3-0 record on the day, capped off with a pin against Maxwell Bluhm (WNE) in the finals. Junior
Mason Franklin finished the day 2-1 as he lost a 10-5 decision in the finals of the 125 lb. bracket to Robby Lyons (Norwich).
Sophomore
Vincent Faldetta earned third-place finish (157 lbs.) with a 12-8 decision over Jack Forte (Roger Williams). Along the way, he recorded a pair of tech fall wins. Classmate
Johan Aguilar recorded three major decision victories en route to a fourth-place finish at 133 lbs.
Freshman
Landon Gray took fourth (149 lbs.) by securing decisions of 6-1, 8-4, and 11-9 before being ousted in the semifinals. Classmate
Joebeth Plaza finished fourth as he went 2-2, advancing to the semifinals before falling to eventual winner Colby Celuck (VTSU-Castleton).
Freshman
Jeremiah Rhames (174 lbs.) posted a 2-1 record at the event, overcoming an early exit from the winner's bracket to win his final four matches – including one against Michael Toppan (RWU) to close the day – and finish fifth. Sophomore
Luke Montefusco (149 lbs.) grabbed sixth place for JWU, securing two pins along to way to building a 3-2 record.
