Jack Richardson (165 lbs.) and freshman
Nico Rivera (125 lbs.) were each crowned an NCAA Division III Wrestling All-American on Friday at the national championships in Iowa.

The fifth-seeded Rivera opened the day with a 15-2 major decision win over Kurt Mokros (Ohio Northern) before dropping a 15-8 decision to No. 4 seed Malik Asfour (Eastern) in the second round.
Rivera rallied for a 9-0 major decision win in the blood round over No. 6 Matt Griffin (TCNJ) to secure All-America honors. He will meet No. 9 seed Brett Birchman (Wartburg) on Saturday.
Richardson, meanwhile, picked up a 4-1 win in overtime over No. 9 seed Bo Koedman (Coe) in the opening round. The eighth-seeded Richadson advanced to face top-seeded Clayton McDonough (Luther) in the next round and was defeated, 1-0.
The Danielson, Connecticut native came back with a 16-0 tech fall win (2:30) against No. 15 Peyton Brooks to secure AA honors. Richardson will square off with No. 4 seed Aidan Smith (Adrian) on Saturday.

Thomas DiResta (165 lbs.) began the day with a 5-3 win over No. 14 seed Paul Lichter (St. John Fisher) to advance to meet No. 5 Liam Flanagan (Washington & Lee). DeResta was upended 4-1 by Flanagan and then saw his tournament run come to an end with a 3-1 setback to No. 3 seed Londen Murphy (Ohio Northern).
The Wildcats have now produced at least one All-American in 25 of head coach
Lonnie Morris' 27 years at the helm of the JWU wrestling program.
The defending national champion Wildcats complete competition at the tournament on Saturday.
