CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The No. 4 seeded JWU (Providence) wrestling team placed fourth at the 2025 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National Duals following a loss to No. 1 seed Wartburg (20-17) in the semifinals and No. 3 seed Wis. La-Crosse (28-19) in the third-place match.
Senior Joziah Fry (125 lbs.) and Hayden Brown (149 lbs. & 157 lbs.), along with freshman Peyton Ellis (133 lbs.), each finished the tournament a perfect 4-0. Senior Dylan Harr (197 lbs.), junior Jake Eckerle (141 lbs.), and sophomore Jack Richardson (165 lbs.) all posted a 1-1 record on Saturday.
Wartburg advanced past JWU and into the finals on bonus points.
