BRISTOL, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) wrestling team placed fourth at the Roger Williams Invitational Saturday at the RWU Field House.

Senior Joziah Fry placed first at 125 lbs. as he secured two tech fall wins and one via pin to advance to the finals, where he defeated Jake Craig (Southern Maine) with a 13-3 major decision.

Junior Ky'ell Roper secured two wins by fall and another by decision as he moved onto the finals of the 184 lb. bracket before suffering a 10-0 loss to Sampson Wilkins (VTSU-Castleton).

Sophomore Vincent Faldetta went 4-2 on the day placed fifth at 157 lbs., winning his first two matches by major decision. Classmate Michael Schliem took sixth at 174 lbs. as he won five matches, including two by fall.
