GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Johnson & Wales (RI) University wrestling team scored wins over Millikin, Ithaca, McDaniel, and Delaware Valley (exhibition) Saturday afternoon at the Chocolate Duals. The Wildcats took down the Big Blue 28-12, the Bombers 32-9, the Green Wave 44-6, and the Aggies 28-16.

Freshman and nationally-ranked No. 1 at 125 lbs., Joziah Fry, picked up three wins on the afternoon – two by decision and one by fall. His win against Ithaca was in the 133 lb. weight class.
Senior Ryan DeVivo also posted a 3-0 record with two tech fall wins and one pin at 184 lbs. Graduate student William Hughes collected three wins – two by tech fall and one via decision – at 157 lbs. while sophomore Dylan Harr notched three wins, all in varying fashion: one by majority decision, one by fall, and one by decision.
Other highlights included freshman Adolfo Betancur at 285 lbs. and junior Scott Defex at 174 lbs. against Milliken; graduate students Liridon Leka at 285 lbs. and Michael Ross at 174 lbs. against Ithaca; and senior Victor Perlleshi at 141 lbs., sophomore Christian Murphy at 165 lbs., and freshman Noah Krakower at 133 lbs. against McDaniel.
