Box Score 2 PROVIDENCE - Senior Patrick Fleming collected five hits, including a pair of doubles, in the Wildcats doubleheader sweep of Albertus Magnus on Sunday afternoon. JWU won game one 8-6 and earned a 10-2 victory in the nightcap.

In the opener, JWU climbed out to an 8-0 lead through the first five innings. To cap off a six run 3rd inning, Fleming smacked a two-run single to right center before senior Colby Greenhalgh's RBI double closed out a two-run 5th and gave JWU the eight run lead. After picking up a run in the 6th, the Falcons were able to grab five more in the top of the 7th before the Wildcats were able to escape with the 8-6 victory.
In game two, the Wildcats scored early and often with six runs in the first three innings. Joe Maracic opened the scoring with a two-run single in the first and Fleming closed the scoring in the 3rd with an RBI single to right. A pair of two-run singles by classmates EJ Leone and Jack Magane finished the scoring for the day and gave JWU the 10-2 edge. Steve Rocchio pitched five innings and allowed one earned run while striking out six before Jake Hernandez struck out four of the six batters he faced in the final two innings to secure the win for the home team.
