Jack Dwyer belted a three-run home run and finished with four RBI to send the JWU (Providence) baseball team to a 10-6 win at the University of Saint Joseph Thursday afternoon in non-conference action at the USJ Baseball Field.

Justin Hernandez each drove in two runs as the Wildcats ran their win streak to four and climbed to within three games of the .500 mark at 6-9. Senior
Jack Obert collected three hits and scored three runs while Diaz finished with four hits.
Senior
Ryan Ducey opened the game with a home run and Hernandez laced an RBI single later in the first to stake JWU to an early 2-0 lead. Dwyer and Hernandez each drove in runs in the third before the Wildcats threw up a five-spot in the fourth to stretch the lead to 9-1, highlighted by Dwyer's long ball.
Diaz' second run-scoring hit of the afternoon in the fifth made it a 10-1 lead for the visitors. The Blue Jays (10-6) pushed across three in the eighth and two in the ninth to cap the scoring.
Seven Wildcat pitchers combined for seven punchouts with freshman
Ryan Barrington receiving credit for the win, his first of the season.
