Box Score 2 WALTHAM, Mass. – In their fourth and fifth games against one another in the last seven days, the Wildcats dropped a pair of seven innings contests at Brandeis on Saturday afternoon. The Judges won a 12-11 shootout in the opener and finished the sweep with a 9-2 victory.

Of Note:
In the opener both teams sent a total of 10 pitchers to the mound in the 23 run affair. JWU raced out to a 3-0 lead after senior Colby Greenhalgh blasted his first homerun of the season to left center while Clayton McAllister followed suit with a two-run single to left. The host Judges scored 11 unanswered runs in the next three innings before the Wildcats were able to get back on the board with a seven run 4th inning before tying the game in the 6th with an RBI single by Jack Magane. A homerun in the bottom of the 6th was the difference as the Judges closed the game out in the 7th, 12-11.
Game two saw the Judges push out to an 8-0 lead by the end of the 4th inning, thanks to a five run fourth. Raimiel Rodriguez sent a double down the line in the 6th to get the Wildcats on the board and then later scored to move the Wildcats within six, 8-2. JWU surrendered another run in the bottom half of the 6th and could not produce in the 7th to suffer the 9-2 setback.
