Box Score 2 PROVIDENCE - A strong outing by Kyle Cutler in game two helped JWU secure their first win of the season. The Wildcats suffered a 12-10 loss to Roger Williams in game one and came away with a 5-1 win in the nightcap.

Of Note:
In game one, Roger Williams jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the 5th after a homerun by Ben Bonavita. The Wildcats chipped away at the lead in their next two at bats, eventually taking a 7-6 lead when Colby Greenhalgh scored on a wild pitch. After surrendering three runs, JWU tied it in the 8th after RBI singles by Duffy and Clayton McAllister. RWU again scored three runs and secured the 12-10 victory only surrendering one run in the 9th.
Cutler and the Hawks Justin Garcia traded scoreless innings until McAllister knocked in Greenhalgh to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead thru four. JWU held the lead until the 8th when Roger Williams tied the game 1-1. The Wildcats answered with a four run 8th inning to take a 5-1 advantage. Steve Rocchio was able to shut the door in the ninth to secure the 5-1 win.
