BRISTOL, RI – The Johnson & Wales University baseball team couldn't hold on to a late lead. The Wildcats lost a 4-2 decision at Roger Williams on Thursday.

Johnston & Wales: 20-16

Of Note:
With JWU trailing, 1-0, Steve Rocchio led off the third with a walk, moved up to second on a Rich Bourdeau single then scored on a Will Fritz ground out.

The Wildcats grabbed the lead in the seventh without a base hit. RWU reliever Michael Farrell issued three-straight, two-out walks then Bourdeau scored on a wild pitch.

Roger Williams got three runs in the bottom of the eighth, including a two-run single by George Somers off JWU reliever Rob Ballinger to take the lead.
