Box Score MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Johnson & Wales University baseball team didn't have an answer for the Fredonia bats on Friday. The Blue Devils pounded out 17 hits in the 10-0 victory over the Wildcats at the Ripken Experience Complex.
The loss dropped the Wildcats to 2-2 on the year.
Fredonia scored a pair in the second then a run in the third and fourth off starter Kyle Cutler. The Blue Devils squashed any hopes of a JWU comeback with six runs in the seventh and eighth innings.
Junior Aidan Hagarty reached base three times with two of the Wildcats' six hits and a walk.
Johnson & Wales plays its final game in Myrtle Beach on Saturday against Lehman at 11:30 a.m.
