Trio named to NEILA All-Academic Team

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) men's lacrosse team saw three student-athletes – Donny McInnis, David Hill, and Kyle Marcinko – earn a spot on the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Team.

McInnis (Robotics Engineering) graduated No. 4 all-time with 112 goals while Hill (Criminal Justice) was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Third Team this past season and Marcinko (Sports, Entertainment, Event-Management) departs JWU No. 4 all-time in both ground balls (186) and caused turnovers (61).

Members of the teams are nominated by head coaches in Divisions I, II and II, and are student-athletes who have excelled both in the classroom and on the field over the course of their men's lacrosse career. Overall, 59 different colleges and universities were represented across all three divisions.

Nominees must have a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team

In total, 226 Division III players representing 39 different institutions made an appearance on this year's squads. Thirty-nine student-athletes from the (GNAC) were recognized, led by Rivier with 11 and followed by Norwich (seven), USJ (five), Regis (MA) (four), Emmanuel (MA) (four), JWU, NEC (two), Mitchell (one), and Lasell (one).
