NASHUA, N.H. – The JWU (Providence) men's lacrosse team saw its season come to an end with a 15-4 loss at No. 1 seed Rivier University in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Quarterfinals Saturday afternoon.

Matthew Bancroft, each found the back of the net for the Wildcats, who were outshot 48-25. Junior
Thomas Haggerty finished with a team-high seven ground balls as he went 7-of-18 at the X. Sophomore
Jake Inzirillo caused three turnovers.
Graham opened the scoring seven seconds into the contest before the Raiders (14-1) reeled off six of the next seven goals to move in front by four (6-2). Doyle tallied late in the first half to send the game into halftime with the home team ahead by three.
Rivier scored three times in the first seven minutes of the third to open up a 9-3 advantage, and answered Bancroft's goal at 7:54 with three of its own to extend the lead to 12-3 after 45 minutes of play.
Freshman
Andrew Sforza stopped 14 shots in goal for the Wildcats, who finish their season 7-9.
