SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – JWU (Providence) alum
Donny McInnis and
David Hill are among 51 former student-athletes participating in the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West Senior All-Star Game this Friday, May 30 at 7 p.m. at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on the campus of Providence College in Providence, R.I.
NEILA East-West Senior All-Star Game Rosters
All players and coaches were nominated by the head coaches within the NEILA. Players were then ranked and selected by a committee, awarding seniors from all three NCAA Divisions who played their college career in the New England region. This all-star game is the only one of its kind, being a regional all-star game which includes players from Divisions 1, 2, and 3.
A Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Third Team pick, McInnis finished second on the Wildcats in both goals (24) and points (33). The North Haven, Connecticut native scored a season-high five goals against Southern Maine on March 7 and racked up two goals and three assists in a win over Regis (MA) five weeks later. McInnis was named to both the Third Team & Sportsmanship Team as a junior in 2024, and he finished his career No. 4 in program history in goals (112) and No. 5 in points (149).
Hill – who was also named to the Third Team – ranked third on the Wildcats in caused turnovers (14) and tied for fourth in ground balls (37). The Bayville, New York native picked up a season-high five GB's against both Eastern Conn St. (March 11) and later in a win at Albertus Magnus (April 9). Offensively, Hill collected a goal and an assist in a win over Mitchell on April 12.
"This is a great opportunity to highlight the college careers of these young men," said JWU head coach
Tim Murphy, who is also president of NEILA and coordinator of the East-West All-Star team selection. "For many, it is one last time for them to play an organized game against such high competition. It is also a chance to compete with players you may have battled against throughout your college career."
Tickets to the event are free. Fans and players should use the following address to access the field: 250 Huxley Ave, Providence, R.I.
