MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The JWU (Providence) wrestling team captured the 2025 NCAA Division III Northeast Regional Championship and saw seven student-athletes qualify for the national tournament Sunday afternoon at Bacon Field House on the campus of Wesleyan (CT) University.

Seniors Dylan Harr (197 lbs.), Joziah Fry (125 lbs.) and Hayden Brown (149 lbs.), juniors Adolfo Betancur (285 lbs.) and Jake Eckerle (141 lbs.), sophomore Jack Richardson (165 lbs.), and freshman Peyton Ellis (133 lbs.) all placed in the top three of their weight class and will represent the Wildcats in two weeks at the National Championship, which will be held at Amica Mutual Pavilion on March 14-15.
