BEVERLY, Mass. – Junior
Sophia Warburton has been named the Conference of New England (CNE) Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the first time in her career on Monday.
The Norfolk, Virginia native scored four goals last week, three of which came in a 4-2 win over Hartford on Tuesday. Warburton then opened the scoring in a 2-1 win over the University of New England on Saturday.
With the wins, the Wildcats climbed over the .500 mark for the first time this season at 8-7-1 (6-2-0 CNE) heading into tomorrow night's match at Suffolk University.
Warburton owns 17 points thus far in 2025 on seven goals and three assists.
