JWU, Suffolk play to scoreless tie

BOSTON, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) women's soccer team played to a scoreless tie at Suffolk University Tuesday night in Conference of New England (CNE) action at James A. Santori Stadium.

Reigning CNE Player of the Week Sophia Warburton and sophomore Jamie Davies paced the Wildcats (8-7-2, 6-2-1 CNE) with three shots each. With the tie, JWU remains atop the conference standings entering the final week of regular season play.

Freshman Kyla Stamilio got the start in goal and did not record a save before being lifted at the half in favor of junior Ava Vaughan. Seeing her first action since September 28, Vaughan was tested early and often, and finished with five saves.
