PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) wrestling program remained at No. 2 in the latest The Open Mat Team Tournament Rankings (January 1) at 88 points, behind only Wartburg (121.5).

The Wildcats have seven student-athletes in the national rankings; these rankings remain unchanged since the last poll was released on December 26, 2024.

• Senior Joziah Fry (125 lbs.): No. 1 with a 23-0 record
• Junior Cameron Soda (141 lbs.): No. 3 with a 18-1 record
• Freshman Peyton Ellis (133 lbs.): No. 3 with a 14-1 record
• Senior Hayden Brown (157 lbs.): No. 2 with a 16-1 record
• Junior Adolfo Betancur (285 lbs.): No. 8 with a 18-3 record
• Sophomore Jack Richardson (165 lbs.): No. 8 with a 16-3 record
• Graduate student Dylan Harr (197 lbs.): No. 9: 3-2

JWU returns to action at the National Duals and Manganaro Duals on Friday and Saturday, January 10-11.
