Chris April has been named the
Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week.
April posted a .731 save pct. in a pair of wins for the Wildcats last week. He began the week with a 25-save performance in a road win at Gordon on Wednesday, then turned aside 13 shots in a win over St. Joseph's (ME) in the conference opener on Saturday.
The Mansfield, Massachusetts native – who posted a 7.00 goals against average (GAA) last week – boasts a 3-1 record with an 8.36 GAA and a .649 save pct.
The Wildcats (3-1, 1-0 GNAC) return to action on Wednesday with a 4 p.m. contest against Plattsburgh St. at the SMAC.
