Miele was also named to the First-Team All-Region team and the First-Team All-Conference team, garnering the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Offensive Player Of The Year award.

Over the season, Miele totaled 66 points on 24 goals and 16 assists.  She scored the game winning goal in the GNAC Semifinals to give JWU their first ever conference championship berth, before helping the Wildcats to a GNAC championship and their first NCAA tournament appearance. During the season, she broke the all-time Johnson & Wales Field Hockey points record, and is currently the record holder with 146 points with 59 goals and 28 assists.

Head Coach Lisa Lopes on the honor: "Jill receiving this honor represents her consistent commitment and work ethic all year. She is very deserving of this recognition and I am so proud of her."
