COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Eleven members of the JWU (Providence) field hockey team were amongst the more than 1,800 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from 147 institutions named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad.

Susannah Brown (Sports, Entertainment, Event – Management),

Kyra Rose-Espinoza (Baking & Pastry Arts),
Zoe Soletsky (Culinary Nutrition); and freshmen
Emily Beal (Biology) and
Charlotte Labossiere (Sports, Entertainment, Event-Management).

National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
Additionally, 543 exceptional undergraduate student-athletes received Scholars of Distinction honors. This honor celebrates student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Beal, Brea, Johnson, Labossiere, Miller, and Soletsky received this accolade.
