BEVERLY, Mass. – JWU (Providence) senior Zofia Bangs, junior Ava Pontes, and sophomore Ava Gaudette were each named to the Conference of New England (CNE) Field Hockey Second Team and while juniors Hannah Geil and Sophia Brea, along with sophomore Susannah Brown, earned a spot on the Third Team.

Bangs led the Wildcats in both goals (nine) and points (20), and will graduate No. 4 in program history in both categories (34 G & 76 pts.). Pontes moved to the midfield this season for head coach Lisa Lopes and finished with nine points (3-3-9) in 17 contests. Gaudette, meanwhile, notched five points (2-1-5) in 17 games and registered a pair of defensive saves against nationally-ranked Endicott on October 25.

Brea won eight games to go with a 2.05 goals against average (GAA) and a .759 save pct. in 17 games. The former Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie & Goalkeeper of the Year notched five shutouts in 2025, including two in conference play (Nichols, Hartford).

Brown appeared in 17 games and collected seven points (2-3-7), four of which came in a win against the Fighting Scots. Geil, meanwhile, picked up three assists from the defensive backfield and was a key piece of JWU's penalty corner unit.
