Wildcats Shut Out AMCATS 23-0

Providence, RI. – The Johnson & Wales University women's lacrosse team picked up their 36th-straight conference win on Wednesday. The Wildcats bowled over Anna Maria, 23-0.

Of Note:
The Wildcats opened the game strong, with the first goal coming from Marley Medina within the first minute. 

The Wildcats did not look back, scoring seven times in the first 10 minutes on their way to a 15-0 lead going into the break. 

The Wildcats dominated the stat line, outshooting the AMCATS, 35-1, winning the ground battle, 10-3, and controlling the draw controls 13-3. 

The Wildcats had 13 different players put the ball in the back of the net, including freshman defender Hadley Borkowski who scored her first collegiate goal at the 11:29 mark of the second half. 

Ashley Stavalo stopped the only two shots she faced to record her first collegiate goal.

The Wildcats will travel to New London, NH to take on Colby Sawyer for a 1 p.m. start.
