Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The season may only be a week old, but a trend is starting to form for the Johnson & Wales University women's lacrosse team. The Wildcats lost a nail-biting 16-15 decision at Rhodes College as the sun set Tuesday evening.

Of Note:
The Lynx opened the game with the first goal just two minutes after the first whistle. The two teams went back and forth until the Lynx led 8-3 with 11:50 to go in the first half. The Wildcats answered with a 5-1 run to end the first half trailing 9-8.
The hosts went up, 11-9, to open the second half, but the Wildcats scored three-straight goals to take a brief 12-11 advantage on the second of three goals from Maria Patane. Rhodes then went on a 4-1 run to regain a 15-13 lead.
Patane had a hand in the last two goals of regulation. She assisted on Allison Pazienski's third goal of the game to make the score 15-14 then scored the equalizer with 2:24 remaining to force overtime.
Just 1:29 into overtime, the Lynx got the game-winning goal from Aidan Pike
Rhodes had a 21-12 margin in draw controls as well as 42-31 advantage in shots.
