Of Note:
Johnson & Wales got the first goal less than six minutes into the period. Molly Gray (Bozeman, Mont.) passed the puck to Kathryn Mason (Grafton, Mass.) and she ripped a shot from the slot to beat SSU keeper Sarah Plourde. It's the third time this season Mason has scored a goal in back-to-back games.

The Wildcats got another goal just before the first period buzzer. Cassie Wakefield (North Vancouver, British Columbia) picked up the loose puck behind the net and slid it past Plourde on the wrap around goal.

A favorable bounce led to both of the Vikings' goal. Julia Dares' shot was deflected off a JWU defender right to Ally Webster and she scored at the 5:41 mark of the second period. Caroline McKinnon's shot deflected right to Webster and she put it back to tie the game at the 7:44 mark of the third period.

Johnson & Wales took advantage of the power play to get the go ahead goal. Julia Martinsson (Charlottenberg, Sweden) came down the left side and sent the puck towards the net. Kathy Ensor (St. Louis, Mo.) tipped it to Harle (Calgary, Alberta) and she put it past Ploure to make it 3-2 in JWU's favor with 6:58 left in the game.

Johnson & Wales is back on the ice Tuesday when it plays host to UMass Boston at 2:45 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for January 7 but had to be postponed due to inclement weather.
