Maddy Santore has been named the Conference of New England (CNE) Coach of the Year while senior
Allyson Barry and sophomore
Grace Adams garnered a spot on the CNE Second Team.
Santore guided the Wildcats to a program-record 14 wins and the second playoff win in program history and first at home. JWU allowed the third-fewest goals and recorded the third-highest save pct. (.934) in the CNE.
Barry led JWU with 11 assists and finished third on the team in scoring with 15 points (4-11-15). She scored a pair of goals and finished with three points (2-1-3) in a late-season with over Western New England on February 20 and racked up two apples in a 3-1 win over Curry in the CNE Quarterfinals five days later. The Woodbury, Minnesota native – who led the Wildcats in both shots (108) and blocked shots (36) – finished her career with 32 points (7-25-32) in 101 games.
Adams paced the Wildcats and ranks seventh in the conference in goals (10), and tied for the team lead with 17 points. The Vershire, Vermont native picked up her first collegiate hat trick in a win over Suffolk (January 23) before notching three points (2-1-3) against Nichols (February 13). Adams later scored one of the most important goals in program history when she potted the game-winner against the Colonels in the playoffs.
Additionally, senior captain
Kylie O'Keefe was elected to the Community Service Team. The Foxborough, Massachusetts native racked a career-high 13 points (8-5-13) this season and closed her career with 41 points (20-21-41) in 104 career outings.
Teaghan Hall (Endicott) took home Player of the Year honors. UNE netminder Kyleigh Matola grabbed both Goaltender and Rookie of the Year accolades while Jamie DuPont (UNE) was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
