LOWELL, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) women's track & field team completed its final tune-up for this weekend's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship by competing at the George Davis Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Massachusetts.

Highlights from the meet included:

• Junior Katelyn O'Brien was fifth in the discus (25.52), fifth in javelin (36.47m), 11th in the shot put (9.94m), and 24th in the triple jump (4.64m)
• Sophomore Lena Nicholson (25.67m) and freshman Jade Ettienne (24.87m) fifth fourth and sixth in the discus, respectively
• Sophomore Riley Veits and freshman Melissa Charles each recorded a score of 2.75m in the pole vault, which put them in a share of ninth place
• Freshman Ayevah Marinez placed 10th in the 100m (13.52) and 14th in the 200m (27.56)
• Sophomore Catherine Migre took 10th in the 400m hurdles (1:14.04)
• Sophomore Brynn Leahy captured 10th in the javelin (29.80m) and 18th in the 100m hurdles (21.63)
• Sophomore Olivia Weldin placed 13th in the high jump (1.40m)
• Freshman Molly McCarthy took 13th in the hammer (34.01m)
