MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The JWU (Providence) women's track & field team competed at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational, which completed competition Saturday.

Graduate student Aliyah Wilson claimed 20th in the 100m dash (12.43m). Sophomore Lauren Stanger placed 17th in the shot put (11.15m) and 19th in the javelin (32.32m).

First-year Rhiana Thomas took 20th in the shot put (10.51m). Junior Lena Nicholson claimed 26th in the discus (29.37m) and 34th in the hammer (33.60m).

First-year Alison Quiambao competed in both the 100m (81st, 13.48) and 200m (79th, 28.13) dash.
