BOSTON, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) women's track & field team finished seven points shy of capturing the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship Sunday afternoon at the BU Track & Tennis Center.

Emmanuel (MA) won the event with 151 points, followed by the Wildcats (145), St. Joseph's (ME) (66), Regis (MA) (57), Colby-Sawyer (31), Simmons (25), and Lasell (18).
Sophomore
Lulani Haslinger placed first in the 800m run (2:23.41), one mile run (5:34.85), and the 3000m run (11:33.42). Sophomore
Lena Nicholson won the weight throw (12.68m) while sophomore
Riley Veits (2.80m) and freshman
Melissa Charles (2.75m) finished 1-2 in the pole vault.

Ayevah Marinez captured first place with a time of 4:14.41. Their distance medley team of Haslinger, sophomore

Other top finishers included:
- Sophomore Erika Sanders grabbed second in the shot put (10.35m)
- Marinez took third in the 200m dash (27.16) and fourth in the 400m dash (1:01.94)
- Graduate student Marissa Lombardi took third in the 5000m (20:47.23)
- Charles nabbed fourth in the 60m dash (8.31)
- Sophomore Olivia Weldin finished fifth in the high jump (1.41m)
- Leahy placed sixth in the 60m hurdles (10.64)
- Freshman Sheriyah Hicks placed seven in both the long jump (4.60m) and triple jump (9.63m)
