Jake Inzirillo stopped 28 shots in a 3-2 win for the JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey team over Westfield State Tuesday night in non-conference action at Ameila Park Arena.

The Minnesota-native scored twice in the third, including the game-winner with less than three minutes remaining in regulation to help the Wildcats to their best start since the 2015-16 campaign (2-0-1).

Davis Bone and
Cam Martin, along with junior
Brad Crook and freshmen
Zachary Brady and
Roman Wainwright, all picked up an assist. Wainwright now has a point in all three JWU contests this season.
The Wildcats trailed 2-0 late in the second before Nelson's fourth off a feed from Crook cut their deficit to one after two. Nelson's fifth tally midway through the third on the PP tied the game and the winner came off a pass from Bone at 17:10.
