EAST BOSTON, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey season came to a close in the Conference of New England (CNE) Quarterfinals with an 8-1 loss at No. 3 seed Suffolk University Wednesday night at Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.
The sixth-seeded Wildcats received the fourth goal of the season off the stick of freshman
Zachary Brady at 10:09 of the first period. The goal cut the JWU deficit in half before the Rams reeled off six unanswered goals.

Chris Alexander and sophomore
Joseph Sciabarra were credited with assists on the goal while junior netminder
Jake Inzirillo turned aside 41 shots. Junior
Joe Freeman blocked a team-high four shots.
The Wildcats finish the season with a record of 8-15-3.
