PROVIDENCE, R.I. Twenty-five student-athletes from the JWU (Providence) men's and women's ice hockey teams have been named
American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholars.
The men were represented by seniors
Davis Bone (Biology) and
Cam Martin (Culinary Nutrition); juniors
Connor Nelson (Sports, Entertainment, Event-Management),
Ryan Walsh (Business Administration),
Joe Freeman (Business Administration),
Harout Torosian (Business Administration), and
Brad Crook (Business Administration); sophomores
Coby Fox (Sports, Entertainment, Event-Management),
Luke Gaffney (Business Administration),
Cullen Hennessy (business administration),
Joseph Sciabarra (business administration), and
Maxim Zinchenko (Sports, Entertainment, Event – Management); and freshman
Jack Gerne (undecided).
Seniors
Alexia Labre (psychology) and
Kylie O'Keefe (biology) were joined by juniors
Sophia Brea (international business),
Sadie Davignon (Biomedical Engineering),
Brynn Leahy (Sports, Entertainment, Event-Management), and

A total of 994 Division II and III student-athletes (550 men, 444 women) were honored. Amongst Conference of New England (CNE) institutions, Nichols topped the list with 16, followed by the Wildcats with 13, UNE (12), Curry (11), Suffolk (nine), and Endicott (four). On the women's side, Nichols led the way with 16, which was ahead of Curry (14), JWU (12), Western New England (eight), Suffolk (six), and Endicott (five)
Student-athletes must hold a grade point average (GPA) of 3.75 and have participated in at least 40 percent of the team's games during the 2025-26 season.
