Aireus Raspberry has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Basketball Third Team. Additionally, junior
Jonah Phang was selected to the Sportsmanship Team.
Raspberry closed his standout career No. 6 in program history in scoring with 1,382 points; his career scoring average of 14.4 ppg ranks eighth at JWU. This past season, Raspberry finished seventh in the GNAC in scoring at 17.0 ppg while averaging 36.8 minutes/game – good for second in the conference. The Cranston, Rhode Island native reached double-figures in scoring in 19 of his 24 outings in 2023-24, scoring 20-or-more 10 times, including a season-high 28 against Mitchell on January 6. Raspberry picked up five of double-doubles, including a 25-point, 10-rebound effort at NEC (2/10), and a 24-point, 11-rebound performance against Emerson (1/2). He nearly went for a triple-double against Colby-Sawyer in January, finishing with 22 points, 10 dimes and eight boards.
A native of Pelham, New York, Phang finished third in the GNAC in blocks/game at 1.7, recording two-or-more blocks in 11 games. He started 22 of the 24 games he appeared and pulled down 10+ rebounds on five occasions, filling the stat sheet with 15 boards, seven points, and five blocks against Mitchell on January 6. Later, he pulled down 12 rebounds in consecutive games at Eastern Nazarene (Jan. 25) and Rivier (Jan. 27).
The Wildcats finished the season with a 7-17 record (4-10 GNAC).
