Box Score 2 BOSTON, Mass. - After splitting their regular season finale against Emmanuel, the Wildcats went into the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship with hopes of their fifth GNAC trophy. Those efforts were pushed aside in a 2-0 best-of-three victory by the Saints. The Wildcats fell 8-0 in the opener and dropped game two 10-2.

Of Note:
The Saints jumped in front of JWU in the third inning of game one when they plated four runs on back-to-back hits including an RBI double that the Wildcats used a relay to third to get the batter out to end the inning. Emmanuel finished the game in the fifth with back-to-back doubles to take the 8-0 victory. Jill Pulek was the lone bright spot for the Wildcats with a pair of hits, including a two-out double to right field in the first inning.
In game two, JWU was able to score a run in the third, after trailing 6-0, courtesy of a Devin Scales RBI single. Down by nine in the bottom of the sixth, Olivia DiGiacomo knocked in the final run of the season for the Wildcats as Emmanuel closed out the inning to take home the championship.
Scales, Pulek and sophomore pitcher Livia Feole were named to the All-Tournament team for the Wildcats.
