PROVIDENCE, R.I. – JWU (Providence) women's volleyball head coach Michael Houlihan has announced his coaching staff for the 2026 season. Lauren Milani will join longtime assistant Maria Coniglio as an assistant coach while Allison Raposo will serve as a volunteer assistant coach, and both Alex Taranto and Tyree Grant will work as student Managers.

Milani was a four-year member of the Central Connecticut State volleyball program, finishing with 640 kills, 786 digs, and 102 blocks in 97 career matches. A native of nearby Cranston, Milani earned four Northeast Conference (NEC) Commissioner's Honor Roll selections (2021-24) and a pair of College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic honors (2022, 2024).

Milani scored a perfect 4.0 GPA four times during her time at CCSU and capped her collegiate career with the highest grade point average (GPA) among female student-athletes at CCSU in 2024-25. She received the Frances E. Libera Scholarship Award for leadership and academic performance while at CCSU and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Milani is currently pursuing a degree in nursing from JWU.

Raposo was a three-sport athlete in volleyball (2021), cross country (2022), and track & field (2022-23) at Bridgewater State University, graduating in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education. The Cumberland, Rhode Island native has spent time coaching volleyball at the Coastal Volleyball Club (2018-23), Cumberland High School (2023), and Simmons University (2025).

A three-year member of the Dean's List at BSU (2022-24), Raposo guided the Cumberland junior varsity program to a state championship and the varsity program to a second-place finish in the state of Rhode Island in 2023. At Simmons, she assisted with practice planning, scouting, and recruiting, and also created strength & conditioning programs for the athletes. Raposo currently works as an academic success coach at JWU.

Taranto and Grant are both members of the club men's volleyball program at JWU.
