Lauren Mialni begins her first season as an assistant volleyball coach at JWU in 2026.
Milani was a four-year member of the Central Connecticut State volleyball program, finishing with 640 kills, 786 digs, and 102 blocks in 97 career matches. A native of nearby Cranston, Milani earned four Northeast Conference (NEC) Commissioner’s Honor Roll selections (2021-24) and a pair of College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic honors (2022, 2024).
Milani scored a perfect 4.0 GPA four times during her time at CCSU and capped her collegiate career with the highest grade point average (GPA) among female student-athletes at CCSU in 2024-25. She received the Frances E. Libera Scholarship Award for leadership and academic performance while at CCSU and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Milani is currently pursuing a degree in nursing from JWU.
