Allison Raposo begins her first year as an assistant volleyball coach at JWU in 2026.
Raposo was a three-sport athlete in volleyball (2021), cross country (2022), and track & field (2022-23) at Bridgewater State University, graduating in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education. The Cumberland, Rhode Island native has spent time coaching volleyball at the Coastal Volleyball Club (2018-23), Cumberland High School (2023), and Simmons University (2025).
A three-year member of the Dean’s List at BSU (2022-24), Raposo guided the Cumberland junior varsity program to a state championship and the varsity program to a second-place finish in the state of Rhode Island in 2023. At Simmons, she assisted with practice planning, scouting, and recruiting, and also created strength & conditioning programs for the athletes. Raposo currently works as an academic success coach at JWU.
