PROVIDENCE, R.I. – JWU (Providence) placed 142 student-athletes on the 2026 Conference of New England (CNE) Spring Academic All-Conference Team.

The women's outdoor track & field program led the way with 23 student-athletes, followed by women's indoor track & field (21), women's ice hockey (18), baseball and men's ice hockey (17), softball (15), men's lacrosse (10), women's basketball (nine), women's lacrosse (eight), and men's basketball (four).

In January and June each academic year, the Conference recognizes an Academic All-Conference Team. Each member institution is responsible for determining its qualified student-athletes. Criteria for recognition is: at least sophomore status athletically and academically with one academic year in residence at their current institution; hold a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale; active member of a roster for a Conference-sponsored sport.

The January recognition covers men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's tennis, women's volleyball, field hockey, men's and women's golf, and football. The June recognition includes men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, baseball, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis and men's and women's track and field student-athletes.

Graduate transfers, regardless of enrollment at their current institution, are eligible. First years, freshmen and undergraduate transfers in their first semester at their current institution are not eligible.
