PROVIDENCE, R.I. – JWU (Providence) baseball alumni Owen Davis was named to the 2025 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division III Region 1 All-Defensive Team.

Davis was charged with just four errors in 346 chances this past season – good for a fielding pct. of 988. Offensively, the Bristol, Connecticut native finished 2025 with a .304 average, 12 doubles (t-No. 6 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference), three home runs, and 29 RBI in 40 starts behind the dish. Davis finished the campaign on a nine-game hitting streak, going 18-for-40 for a .450 average, and drove in 16 RBI in his last 16 games.

Following the season, Davis was also named to the GNAC First Team as well as the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III Region 1 Second Team.

The Wildcats advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in five seasons in 2025 and finished with a 28-15 record.
