SALISBURY, Md. – Senior
Trevor Juan slammed a solo home run for the JWU (Providence) baseball team in a 12-2 loss to No. 8 Salisbury University Friday afternoon in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament at Donnie Williams Stadium.
The Bolton, Connecticut finished with two of the Wildcats (28-14) six hits. With the loss, JWU will face Ramapo Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. in an elimination game.

Ryan Ducey. The Sea Gulls pushed across two in the fourth and two in the fifth before Juan launched his eighth home run of the season over the centerfield fence to make it 4-2.

Aidan Vining kept the Wildcats in the game through six as he allowed four hits and four runs with no walks and five strikeouts. In the seventh, Salisbury put up eight runs on five hits to blow the game open and take a 12-2 lead.
