HENNIKER, N.H. – Senior Owen Davis belted a three-run home run and drove in four in a 13-3 win for the JWU (Providence) baseball team over New England College Tuesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Laurie Cox Memorial Field.

Senior Trevor Juan went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored as the Wildcats notched their 21st win of the season. Junior Jack Obert also drove in two and senior Garrett Fusco struck out four in four innings of work in his first start of the season.

Leading 2-0 entering the second, the Wildcats pushed across five runs in the second to pull comfortably ahead by seven runs. Juan began the rally with a two-run single, followed by Davis' second round tripper of the season.

Amero plated one in the seventh with a sac fly before a pair of bases-loaded walks to senior Nicolas Fortes and freshman Yedan Diaz, a two-run single from Obert, and a run-scoring single from senior Ryan Ducey in the ninth capped the scoring.

Ducey finished the afternoon with three hits while sophomore Jeff Valdez Jimenez went 2-for-6 with two runs scored. Freshman Brady Morin was credited with the win as he allowed five hits and one run to go with four strikeouts in three innings of work.
