BEVERLY, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) baseball team was defeated by No. 3 Endicott College 5-0 in non-conference action Monday afternoon at North Field.

Seniors Owen Davis, Zachary Amero, and Ryan St. Jean each recorded a hit for the Wildcats (20-12) while eight different student-athletes tossed one inning on the bump.

The Gills (26-3) made it 2-0 on a sac fly in the first and second, respectively, before a two-run single later in the second made it 4-0. They tacked on another run in the sixth.

Senior Evan LaMothe was tagged with the loss as he allowed three runs on one hit in the second.
