BEVERLY, Mass. – Freshman
Vivi Mansfield has been named the 2025 Conference of New England (CNE) Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Year while junior
Hannah Pereira was tabbed the Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Additionally, Mansfield and sophomore
Nevaeh Arnold were named to the Second Team while freshman
Sophia Santacroce garnered Third Team honors and senior
Katelyn O'Brien was placed on the Community Service Team.
Mansfield sits fourth in the CNE in total kills (305) and ninth in kills/set (2.99). The Norwalk, Connecticut native racked up 10+ kills on 15 occasions, including a career-high 24 in the regular season finale against Endicott (Nov. 8) and 19 at Gordon back on October 15. Mansfield tallied her first double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs against the Fighting Scots in the conference quarterfinals and finished the season with 105 digs and 30 aces.
Arnold – who was named the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Year – was second on the Wildcats in kills (242) and fourth in service aces (28). She picked up double-digit kills in 13 matches, highlighted by a 17-kill effort against Rhode Island College on Senior Night (Oct. 2). A native of Alpharetta, Georgia, Arnold finished 2025 with 86 digs, 53 blocks, and 28 aces.
Santacroce ranks third in the conference in assists (771) and fifth in assists/set (7.27). The Toledo, Ohio native handed out 20+ assists in 20 matches and hit the 30-assist mark on nine occasions. Santacroce tallied a season-high 41 assists against Salve Regina (Nov. 1) and again against the Gulls this past Saturday, and also collected 10+ digs on five occasions.
Pereira is a biology major who holds a 3.99 grade point average (GPA). The Acushnet, Massachusetts native appeared in nine matches this past season for head coach
Michael Houlihan and registered season-highs in both digs (six) and kills (two) against Curry on October 29. Periera is graduating a year early.
Twice named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, O'Brien played in a career-high 24 matches this past season and notched 59 kills, 23 digs, and 19 blocks (two solo). A native of Holmdel, New Jersey, O'Brien threw down a career-high nine kills against Framingham State (Nov. 4) and also had eight in a win over RIC on Senior Day.
