PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior
Riley Hasson drove in three runs for the JWU (Providence) baseball team in a 7-0 win over Albertus Magnus in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Tuesday afternoon at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
Junior
Trevor Juan added four hits – including an RBI double in the first – and scored three times for the Wildcats (12-5, 3-0 GNAC), who ran their win streak to seven. Sophomore
Max Randazzo, meanwhile, fanned 10 over seven innings of two-hit shutout ball to improve to 4-1 on the season. Junior
Garrett Fusco worked two hitless innings to close out the contest.
Hasson plated one in the third on a single to left and two more in the sixth with a double to left-center which extended the JWU lead to 7-0. Senior
Jack Magane also collected an RBI with a bloop single in the fourth and junior
Xavier Botelho drove in a run with a double down the left field line in the fifth.
