Riley Hasson collected three hits and drove in a pair for the JWU (Providence) baseball team in a 14-7 win over St. Joseph's (ME) Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Owen Davis finished the afternoon 2-for-5 with four RBI, including a two-run double that sparked a five-run third inning and propelled the Wildcats (11-5, 2-0 GNAC) to their sixth-straight win. Hasson, meanwhile, plated a pair with a two-run single while junior
Xavier Botelho laced an RBI singled and forced in another run when he was hit by a pitch with bases loaded. Classmate
Nicolas Fortes closed his day with two hits and two RBI.

Ryan St. Jean and Fortes plated runs to extend the lead to 6-0 after three. JWU scored four times in the seventh and twice in both the eighth and ninth innings to put the game away.
Sophomore
Aidan Vining allowed nine hits and one earned run in 6.2 innings of work to record his third win of 2024. The defending GNAC Pitcher and Rookie of the Year walked one and fanned 11.
