Riley Hasson went 3-for-4 with four RBI in a 15-1 win for the JWU (Providence) over Coast Guard Tuesday afternoon in non-conference baseball action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
Juniors
Trevor Juan and
Owen Davis, along with sophomore
Jack Obert, all collected three RBI as the Wildcats (6-5) pounded out 14 hits and scored at least one run in six of their eight turns at-bat. JWU hurlers, meanwhile, combined for 15 strikeouts, highlighted by sophomore
Max Randazzo, who sent down 12 Bears over seven innings of one-hit ball.
A pair of RBI singles from Juan in the second and the sixth helped JWU build a 7-0 lead. Hasson, meanwhile, lifted a sac fly in the sixth before lacing a bases-clearing double in the eighth that stretched the lead to 13-0.
